This Privacy Policy explains how V&B Technologies ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use Accify at accify.in and in the Accify app. We respect your privacy and handle your data in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information we collect
Account details — your name, mobile number, email address and password (stored only in encrypted form). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
Business data you enter — business name, GSTIN, address, logo, bank details printed on invoices, and the invoices, bills, parties (customers / suppliers), products, photos, payments and expenses you record.
Payment information — when you pay for a plan, the payment is processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). We receive the payment status, amount and a reference ID. We never receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password.
Technical information — device and browser type, IP address, pages visited and error logs, used to keep the Service secure and working well.
2. How we use your information
- to create and run your account and provide the Service;
- to generate your invoices, reports and PDFs;
- to process payments and activate your plan;
- to send important messages, such as password reset, plan expiry and service updates;
- to give support when you contact us;
- to prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal or business data to anyone, and we do not use your business data for advertising.
3. Sharing of information
We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run Accify — payment gateway (Razorpay), hosting and database providers, and email delivery — only as needed for that work and under confidentiality;
- your customers, when you choose to share an invoice or challan link (for example on WhatsApp);
- government authorities, when required by law.
4. Cookies
We use a small login cookie to keep you signed in, and the app stores some data on your device so it can work offline. We may use analytics tools to understand how the website is used. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time; you will then need to log in again.
5. Data security
Your data is sent over secure HTTPS connections and stored on secure servers. Passwords are encrypted. Access to data is limited to people who need it to run the Service. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.
6. How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is active. Deleted records stay in Trash for 5 days so you can restore them, and are then removed permanently. If you ask us to close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
7. Your rights
You can view and correct your details in Settings, export your data at any time, and ask us to delete your account and data. Write to support@accify.in for any privacy request.
8. Children
Accify is meant for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
